Fun Filled Week!

This past week was a crazy one!! We had fun run, our field trip, and fun day!! The kids all had a blast!

 

   

 

   

 

   

Graphing with Skittles

We have been doing graphing in math and today we used Skittles to create a tally chart and a bar graph!

 

   

 

 

Kahoot

Today we used an awesome online game called kahoot to review for a social studies quiz! They all got to use the iPads to answer questions that came up on the smart board. They get points for each question they answer right and more points the faster they answered it. They had blast and were begging to play again!

 

   

 

Easter Fun!

Since Easter is this weekend we ended our week by having an egg hunt outside and creating our own Easter drawings!

 

 
  

 

 
 
  

 

 

Using Songs to Learn!

We love to sing! We have songs to go along with so many things we are learning and sometimes we just like to take brain breaks to sing and dance! We learned a song about Main Idea to Meghan Trainor's song "No!"

We love to use GoNoodle for our brain breaks. "Milkshake" is one of our favorites...if you can't tell they have it memorized :) 

Measurement and Book Tasting!

Before all of these crazy snow days this week we did a bunny drawing along with measurement which we are focusing on in math right now! I love doing directed drawings yet seeing how different all their drawings turn out. This will be our bulletin board for April!

Some other measurement fun! Measuring each other and items around the room!

We also had a book tasting last week. Each table was a different genre and they got to "taste" each book for 5 minutes. They were able to try out different genres of books they haven't read before and record what books were their favorites on their "menus." This allowed them to find books from our own classroom library that they would want to read in the future. They had a blast!!
